- Retain a point drain — if the pipework genuinely will not suit a channel
Movement or relocation of the pipe
Where the pipe must move, this usually means breaking out more floor and forming a new route with correct fall. It is a larger job, but in a full renovation the floor is often open anyway. Plan it before tiling, not after.
